ScorePencil works offline. There are no accounts, no servers, and your games never leave your phone unless you share them. Effective 2026-10-19.
Data we collect
None. The app does not collect or sell personal information. Your games, the player names and avatars, the recent-players list, your house rules and the scores are stored only on your phone and are never sent to us. Uninstalling the app deletes them. If Android backup is on, Android may include this data in your own Google account’s device backup. When you share results or a backup file, you choose where it goes with your phone’s share sheet. If you recommend the app from Settings, the date your 30 days without ads end is also stored only on your phone.
Other people’s names
If you type other players’ names, they stay on your phone. Type only what you need to keep score (a first name or nickname is enough).
Advertising
The free version shows a banner ad from Google AdMob. Google may collect your device’s advertising ID, approximate IP-based location and usage data to serve and measure ads. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings. Purchases
If you buy “Remove ads”, Google Play processes the payment. We never see your card or payment details; the app only asks Google Play whether your Google account owns the purchase and remembers the answer on your phone.
Children
The app is made for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
